PASTORCarePASTORCare is a benefit provided by the Nebraska Conference of the United Church of Christ and the Nebraska Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). It offers all lay ministers, pastors, and persons in called positions direct and immediate assistance in dealing with personal or parish problems. As a United Church of Christ or Disciples of Christ Pastor in Nebraska you are already enrolled with the program. The benefit has been prepaid by funds made available through the Transforming Covenants grant and is available to you immediately. PASTORCare is offered by Personal Assistance Services, an independent provider of professional counseling services and is not affiliated with either the Region or the Conference. PAS staff members are highly qualified mental health professionals with a minimum of a Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work and are licensed in the state to practice counseling. PASTORCare is a confidential service. PAS will not disclose to any party any information about your participation in the services unless you give your specific, written consent to do so (except as required by law when a situation is life threatening).
